Currently, it is estimated that as many as 5.2 million people in the U.S. have Alzheimer's disease. This number is expected to grow over the next 50 years as our population ages.

Hypothetical question, is it selfish to want somebody to not commit suicide?

I can understand stopping someone from trying to kill themselves for something stupid like over an ex-gf/bf. but what if it was something like a killer has your friend’s family as a hostage, and the only way to save them is for your friend to kill themself or if the person had Alzheimers (a genetic disease that makes you forget everything [and i mean EVERYTHING. even how to breath] and that is uncurable) and they decided to kill themselves so they wouldn’t live a life of becoming a living veggie. would it be selfish to try to stop the person if one of the latter cases was the suicidal person’s situation?
and don’t give me anything about God deciding when you die either. i want to know if it is selfish to stop someone from commiting suicide, not if suicide is a sin. alright?
cae, what the f*ck are you talking about? you’re not making scense. how does this murderous manhunt go with my question of suicide? either make yourself clear, or don’t bother hoping for the 10 points.
actually, kit kat, you’re wrong. a hypothetical question is a question based on a hypothesis. i think the term you’re thinking of is “rhetorical”. i could be wrong about that, but as for “hypothetical”, i’m sure of. just check it out on dictionary.com if you don’t believe me.

Boris Badonov once declared that the Moose was Public Enemy Number One. In his quest to finish off Moose, he tried many various methods to kill him.
One moose and one Russian spy.
This presents the ideal conclusion to the hypothosis.
In the perfect world any moose worth his salt would remove his own prescence from the scene than to make with more than his share of gags.
Yes, it is better that way.

hey if they want to take the easy way out then its their choice and nobody should be allowed to stop them.

you know hypothetical questions aren’t meant for answering.
yes suicide for any reason is selfish and it is not selfish of you to want to stop a person no matter what the problem is. there are other ways to die peacefully with a terminal illness then to just kill yourself get a do not resuscitate order so in the event you do stop breathing they can’t make you a veggie.

I couldn’t send you this through email for some reason, but I hope you read this and send me a response through email…..

What makes you think Satan is better than God? Please don’t get angry or anything, I really want to know. Don’t you think Satan has been putting these things in your head (God is a hypocite, you’re gay, etc.) so you’ll do EXACTLY what you did (turn to satan)?..you know that satan absolutly hates God and want’s everyone against Him, satan doesnt care about anyone at all, he rejoices when people suffer and/or turn away from God, that’s why he wants everyone in hell, so people would suffer for eternity. He’s made me question God, but I know his plan and it isn’t going to work on me.
I want you to please tell me why you think God would be hypocritical to you and satan is your friend. satan can give you a whole lotta stuff(materialistic) just to lure you in his trap. God doesn’t beg you, He wants you to decide on your own, that’s why it is easier to turn against God because He’s not pleading for you to be on His side, but satan is definitely doing all he can to get people on his side. But God’s reward for us is greater than anything you can imagine.

Again, please tell me why would you want to be satan’s victim?

I will one up you. Is it selfish to want someone to kill themselves. Because they are absolutely miserable and making those they love go thru hell. And they are total drain on society. And they don’t want help and won’t make any effort to change their situation that put them in that position? Sad to say i never thought i would think that about someone….but i do and i have never felt anything like that before.
