im writing a paper and all i can find about geriatric mental diseases is stuff on alzheimers disease………i need some different ones………please help me

    How about depression? A lot of elderly people suffer from depression, especially once they start losing family members and friends. Dementia is another. You don’t need to have Alzheimer’s to have regular dementia. Anxiety is another. Working in pharmacy, it seems like almost every senior citizen is on some type of antidepressant and/or anti-anxiety drug. Hope this helps a bit.

    Do a word search for: “Senile dementia,” “Cognitive decline,” “Neurodegenerative conditions of the aging brain,” and “Cerebral vascular insufficiency.”
